Victoria Kimani Breaks Down Her Three-Year Single Streak: "Men Are the Problem, 95% of the Time!"

Victoria Kimani and Oga Obinna

Controversial, bold, and always keeping it real—Victoria Kimani is once again grabbing headlines with her unfiltered take on love, relationships, and the struggles of modern dating.

In a candid interview with YouTuber Oga Obinna, the chart-topping Kenyan musician spilled the tea on why she’s been single for three years, taking direct aim at men who “can’t commit” and the disturbing dating trends of today.

You Men Want It All!”

Victoria didn’t hold back as she discussed why she’s been off the dating scene. According to her, the problem is clear: men and their growing obsession with having multiple partners.

"I can take accountability for my own faults, but 95% of the reason I’m single is because of men,” she said, sparring with Obinna. “These days, men want several wives, girlfriends—you name it. And they’ll tell you straight up, even on the first date: ‘You’re not the only one.’”

Revelations About Relationships... and Revelations!

Taking it a step further, Victoria dropped a biblical bombshell, suggesting we might be living in the end times based on men’s behavior.

In Revelation, it says that in the last days, men will be lovers of themselves. And honestly, that’s exactly what I’m seeing! So yeah, that’s why I’m single. I’m not about to fight for a man or share one. It’s absurd.”

Beauty, Fame, and ‘Bad Boys’

Even with her success, beauty, and charm, Victoria admitted she has a weakness for the wrong kind of men. In a previous interview with K24, she confessed her attraction to bad boys has only added to her dating woes.

"My love life is dead. There’s someone I’d like to date, but I don’t think he’s into me. I always go for bad boys, and honestly, it’s not working for me.

A Grim Warning for Women

Victoria’s frustration with modern relationships doesn’t stop at romance—she’s also issued strong advice for women, especially amid the rise of femicide cases in Kenya in 2024.

The singer urged women to prioritize their safety and independence in relationships, saying:
Ladies, always have your own money. Your man doesn’t need to know everything you own. Be cautious. When you go on dates, share your location with loved ones. Go to secure, public places where people can intervene if needed. And never invite a man to your house—or visit his—until you’re absolutely sure.”

Her remarks follow a wave of national protests where thousands of women marched to raise awareness about femicide and gender-based violence.

Victoria Kimani: Fearless and Single

Victoria Kimani’s sharp critique of men and her strong stance on safety and independence make her a powerful voice for women navigating the often treacherous world of love and relationships.

Whether you agree with her or not, one thing is clear: Victoria Kimani is not afraid to speak her truth, and she’s encouraging women everywhere to do the same.
