Kenyan YouTuber Mungai Eve Drops Bombshell About Her Breakup with Director Trevor

In a shocking turn of events, Kenyan YouTuber Mungai Eve has revealed that being fired by her ex-boyfriend and business partner, Director Trevor, hit her like a freight train. Even though their relationship had hit rocky terrain, getting the boot from the very YouTube channel they built together was the last thing she expected.

During a candid interview with Commentator 254, Mungai Eve didn’t hold back, giving fans a peek behind the curtains of their once-powerful partnership—and an even juicier insight into their breakup.

"I Didn't See It Coming!"

I checked out of the relationship in November 2022, but you all only found out in January/February 2024,” Eve revealed. “That’s when I got fired, and it completely caught me off guard. I was in Zanzibar on vacation, trying to clear my head, and next thing I know—boom, I’m jobless!

Eve confessed that while she anticipated the relationship might end (after all, everyone knows who the emotional one is), losing her position on the channel they co-owned? That was a sucker punch she never saw coming.

Trevor’s Ruthless Move—“I Am Irreplaceable!”

In true plot twist fashion, Trevor wasted no time moving on—professionally, at least. He quickly rebranded the wildly successful “Mungai Eve” YouTube channel, turning it into “Kenya Online Media” and making it clear that Eve’s services were no longer needed.

I’m irreplaceable,” Eve shot back defiantly. But Trevor didn’t seem to agree. The channel, which boasts over 750K subscribers and has uploaded a whopping 2,353 videos since its inception on January 2, 2020, was now completely under Trevor’s control.

When a fan dared to ask if Trevor would ever consider working with Eve again, he responded bluntly: “No. Her services are no longer needed on the following platforms: YouTube (754K subscribers), Insta Fame (104K subscribers), and Facebook (874K followers).” Ouch!

Trevor’s Total Takeover

As if the YouTube coup wasn’t enough, Trevor took the drama up another notch by rebranding Mungai Eve’s Facebook page—which has over 104K followers—to Kenya Online Media. He also snatched control of the Insta-Fame channel, which boasts 104K subscribers on YouTube, leaving fans gasping for air in the wake of the couple’s public split.

The breakup had been fueling rumors for months, and now it was finally confirmed in the most savage way possible. Once a dream team, Mungai Eve and Director Trevor had built a media empire together. Their content was innovative, entertaining, and connected with audiences across Kenya and beyond. But now? The empire had crumbled.

What’s Next for Mungai Eve?

While the internet is still buzzing over the breakup and the brutal firing, Mungai Eve’s future remains uncertain. But if there’s one thing we know about her, it’s that she’s resilient. Fans are eagerly watching to see what her next move will be, as she carves out a new path without Trevor by her side.

Stay tuned—this breakup saga is far from over!
